Meet Your Instructor
Abbie Puskas, PT, DPT
Abbie was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and grew up playing a variety of sports. Her dad was her coach for years in both softball and basketball, fueling her love for movement, teamwork, and continuous progress. Overtime, she discovered a love for teaching and guiding others how to perform at their best which naturally led her to pursue Physical Therapy. After graduating from Daemen University with her doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2020, Abbie began her career in pediatrics before transitioning to an outpatient orthopedic setting. She believes rehabilitation should not simply return someone to a sedentary baseline, but instead empower them to meet - and surpass - their functional goals.
Abbie understands that bodies are complex but incredibly capable. They require intentional movement, adequate rest, and proper fueling to truly thrive. Working with the Outlast Health and Performance team allows her to treat each patient as a whole person without the constraints of traditional models.
Abbie specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy, integrating orthopedic care with treatment for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause, incontinence, pelvic pain, and post-surgical conditions. A significant percentage of people experience pelvic floor symptoms at some point in their lives yet education and support are often lacking. Abbie strives to ensure each patient has a understanding of what is happening to their body and feels confident in the plan moving forward.
