Oakley was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on March 22, 2019, before being adopted by Shannon and Corey that May and making Towson, Maryland, her forever home. Although she’s often mistaken for a boy, Oakley is, in fact, a very good girl!
Most days, you’ll find Oakley doing what she does best: lounging around the office or gym and soaking up all the relaxation she can get. Growing up in a gym has its challenges and perks, especially when it comes to all the sweat! But when it comes to physical therapy, Oakley is one of the best companions you could ask for. She always seems to know when someone needs a little extra comfort and is happy to be there when you need her most.
Oakley has always been calm and easygoing, even from a young age, which is just one of the many reasons everyone loves having her around. And if you’ve ever seen Oakley lounging on her back with all four paws in the air and her belly proudly on display, you know she’s truly mastered the art of relaxation! She has no problem making herself comfortable wherever she goes, and her signature belly-up position is just another reminder that life is pretty good when you’re Oakley.
Her favorite things include short walks, cool tile floors, and her beloved toys, Spotty Pig and Bunny. When her parents are off traveling, she loves spending time with her best friend, Tucker!
