With over 18 years of experience as a nurse, including 12 years as a nurse practitioner, Ann brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Her journey in nursing began as an US Army nurse, serving as a critical care and flight nurse on combat and stateside missions. Ann then completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland and board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Completing a Critical Care Fellowship, she then went on to staff one of the highest acuity critical care units in the country for over ten years.

It was after her own personal wellness journey and experiencing the benefits of incorporating the Functional Medicine model that Ann became determined to share this lifestyle-based form of medicine with her patients. She pursued further training under the Institute of Functional Medicine and mentorship program with Origins Functional Medicine. Ann is passionate about providing her patients with holistic, personalized care that recognizes the connection between lifestyle factors and their impact on our health.
