Pelvic Floor Therapy

Restore Strength, Confidence, and Comfort

  • Helps treat problems involving the muscles that support the bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs.

  • We take a holistic approach to pelvic floor therapy and look beyond isolated muscles, addressing how stress, lifestyle, and the nervous system all influence pelvic health. By treating the whole person—not just the symptoms—this approach supports lasting relief, improved function, and overall well-being.

  • We work with individuals of all genders and life stages, including those navigating pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause, post-surgical healing, and chronic pelvic health concerns. Whether you're experiencing pain, leakage, or simply want to feel stronger and more connected to your body, our care is tailored to meet you where you are.

What is Pelvic Floor Therapy?

1 in 4 females and 1 in 10 males experience pelvic floor dysfunction and undiagnosed.

Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy focused on the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues that support your bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs. When these muscles become weak, tight, or uncoordinated, it can lead to discomfort and disruptions in daily life.

Our goal is to help you regain control, reduce pain, and improve your overall quality of life.

What can it help?

Urinary Leakage or Urgency

If you experience leaking when coughing, sneezing, exercising, or a sudden, intense urge to go, your pelvic floor muscles may be weak or poorly coordinated.

Menopause & Post-Menopausal Changes

Hormonal changes during and after menopause can lead to decreased tissue elasticity, vaginal dryness, pelvic pressure, and increased urinary symptoms.

Pelvic Pain or Pressure

Chronic pelvic pain can feel like aching, heaviness, or pressure in the lower abdomen, pelvis, or tailbone. This is often caused by overly tight or irritated pelvic muscles

Pregnancy & Postpartum Recovery

During and after pregnancy, the pelvic floor undergoes significant strain. Therapy can help manage pain, support healing after delivery (including C-sections or tearing), improve bladder control, and safely rebuild core strength.

Core Weakness & Instability

The pelvic floor is a foundational part of your core system, working alongside your abdominal and back muscles. Dysfunction can contribute to poor posture, back pain, and reduced stability.

Later Adulthood

We work with individuals in the Medicare population, typically age 65 and older, who may be experiencing changes in strength, balance, bladder or bowel control, and overall pelvic health.
